| - I need to preface my review by stating that I am petrified of the dentist stemming from a bad childhood experience. Visiting the dentist is terrifying for me. Needing a new dentist, I researched extensively and found Dr. Racanelli's office/practice. I am so glad that I committed to visit him. Dr. Racanelli is extremely understanding and reassuring; he appreciates the anxiety that many people experience when it comes to visiting the dentist. He is confident, a perfectionist, and extremely knowledgeable with an established educational and professional pedigree. His entire office recognized my anxiety and knew how to deal with it so that I felt reassured.
I initially visited the office for cleaning and an exam, knowing that I had some pretty significant issues with over thirty year-old fillings Rachel, the office manager was my first connection with the dental office. She was uber professional, funny, and friendly as she spoke with me to schedule my first visit. On my first appointment, I had my teeth cleaned and a full exam. I had the BEST cleaning ever by the hygienist, Heather, and the kind and gentle Casey took my X-Rays and made everyone else aware of my health history (including my fear of the dentist). Are you seeing the theme here? Dr. Racanelli employs an awesome staff that reflects his professionalism and kind demeanor. Everyone I met made me realize I had found a terrific dental practice. After my cleaning, I met with Dr. Racanelli and he helped determine a plan for my dental needs. He was friendly, detailed, and easy with which to speak. He promised me that he would take care my teeth in a painless manner (huge for me).
On subsequent appointments, Dr. Racanelli replaced my fillings/decayed teeth with beautiful onlays. His dental assistant, Bailey, was kind, compassionate, and capable. The procedure was painless (that's a big deal with Dr. Racanelli) and they are perfect. Using Cerec technology, the permanent partial crowns were made right in the office and fitted onto my teeth like perfect puzzle pieces. This eliminated temporary onlays/extra office visits. I wish I had "before" and "after" pictures to demonstrate how beautiful my teeth look! Also, through his precision using the Cerec technique (he is a real perfectionist), Dr. Racanelli adjusted the alignment of my bite, which has prevented my teeth from grinding when I close my mouth. AMAZING!
My husband has also seen Dr. Racanelli and the dental hygienist,Tara, for cleaning and laser treatment (gum issues). We are so fortunate to have found Dr. Racanelli and his team of professionals, and have moved our entire family to his dental practice. We confidently recommend Dr. Racanelli and the Stunning Smiles team for all dental needs.
