| - AN EXPERIENCE TO REMEMBER!! =)
We were here for a conference and decided to take advantage of our Marriott Membership (Cosmo is one of their Autograph collection) and got the upgrade to Terrace King Studio with Fountain & Strip views (66th floor) for a few nts.
LOVES:
-central location - middle of strip
-gorgeous 24hr gyms - there are 2 gyms. full service on west and smaller gym on east tower
-sleek and elegant design
-ginormous room with bed, living room, and full bath / jacuzzi and bench shower
-gorgeous views of fountains, effiel tower, and high roller
-androgynous sexy toiletries (imo!)
-terrace has a large comfy seat for viewing pleasure
-lights can be turned off ALL at once with their lighting system =)
-personal touches - front desk left us a little handwritten note =) and giving me more toiletries because i mentioned once i forgot to bring em.
-prompt guest services (within 15 min) - they brought me eos cream!
-separate room for toliet w/ VENT! ha.
-free access to marquee (their nightclub) for guest +1 before 11pm (plus you get to jump the line)
-they have a tennis court!! now why didn't i bring my racket
-24 hr gym!!! -- so clean and all cardio machines have tvs. well stocked with weights
COULD BE BETTERs:
-no stove
-switches stay lit throughout the night ... i like to fall asleep to pitch black.
-elevators are almost too fast, so be careful not to get dizzy
-more dining perks!!!
-resort fee is $28/day ... access to gym, wifi , pool, club
-their blackout curtains do almost TOO good of a job ... it was 9A but felt like 5A!
-not on this stay, but we've been to many of Cosmo's dining options and none have really impressed us. too touristy.
TIPS:
-east tower is closer to the strip but not significantly
-stay above the 30th floor as the Bellagio sign blocks your view of the fountains below that
-there is a secret popsicle shop called the Neapolitan at the pool, open to guests only. secret ingredient in posicles is.. alkie. :P
-once you give them your info, you are in their system... now i get coupons in my email harhar.
-they have very suggestive books lying around for your pleasure ;)
-this room could've easily slept 4 people ... their "couch" is ridiculously large and wraps around the living room.
OVERALL ... pleasantly surprised. I thought this place would be too snotty for me, but their attention to detail, your wants and your overall experience truly made me a fan! We shall return. =)
