Bill and his wife are very friendly fish mongers. It's obvious they know and love what they do. They were quite helpful about answering my questions about purchasing and cooking a lobster for the first time. It's a smaller fish place and the selection is not as expansive as the fish mongers in St. Lawrence market but if you're in the market for lobster this is the place! A few large tanks of our squiggly friends sit near the front. They also have a few varieties of fish, mussels and clams-whatever is fresh and good. Another thing to consider is that they are one of the few, reliable purveyors of BC spot prawns when those delicate beasts are in season. Buy a couple pounds of these babies, steam gently and toss in a light sauce and you will find yourself writhing in ecstasy from the taste!
