  • We were visiting Ashland in our motorhome with our two dogs. The elder of the two developed a digestive problem a few days in to the trip. She has had problems before, never seems sick, and always recovers completely, but to be on the safe side, we decided to take her to see a doctor. The place was charming, the staff was, indeed, cheerful, and the doctor was kind and thorough. Rather than giving antibiotics, she opted instead for some natural treatments, something I really appreciated. The bill was neither low nor astronomically high, in the same ballpark with other veterinary services we have known. We don't live nearby, but if we had occasion to return to Ashland and had a critter who needed some help, we wouldn't hesitate to return.
