  • This was my first time visiting this salon and I visited because I read on the devacurl website they had someone who was deva inspired. I booked the appointment a week in advance with Vanessa and was told upon arrival their computer system some times switches the appointments around and my appointment was with Kiley. This appointment was actually for my daughter and she has extremely curly hair. We only straighten once every few years. I explained why I booked with Vanessa but Kiley assured me she has worked with curly/ coarse (not an appropriate description in my opinion) hair before. We were there for 3 hours and after all of that her hair still was bone straight. It was fluffy versus sleek in spite of blow drying and flat ironing. Kiley was nice but took photos of my minor without my permission. Further more she doesn't do a good job working with curly hair. In the meantime I watched Vanessa work on someone with curly hair not only did there hair look amazing but the were in and out in less than an hour. Not sure if we will be back. And I'm praying my daughters curls weren't damaged after being blow dried and flat ironed for hours on end. I gave a two for niceness and she tried, I would have preferred she had not insisted that she could work with her hair though...
