  • My wife and I came here to see if we would qualify for WIC. Since I'm the only one that's currently working and we now have a family of 4. The entire process was fairly simple but you must first have an appointment you can do this by simply calling their office. When you arrive you fill out a general form and you give them birth cert proof of add shot records and an ID. The wait was about 15-20 minutes and we were escorted to the back where you sit with a CPA (Competent Professional Authority). They go over all the information with you and ask you some general question like will you be breast feeding or will you be formula feeding. Our CPA's name was Sandra shes originally from CA and seemed a bit restless at first but once we started to talk to her she opened up and was really nice. She sent us over to Tia a Lactation Specialist. Tia was so nice she went over everything under the sun with us about breast feeding. We felt like we really got allot of information here it felt super informative a bit more then the hospital, which was a shocker to my wife and I, but it felt great to finally have someone answer to the questions we had. Like is there certain foods to avoid is there a certain time limit is there anything we can do to produce more milk etc .. The Staff in all seemed a bit tense and on edge I just wish they smiled more.
