  • This is my kind of BBQ! We tried this place on a whim the other night and were pleasantly surprised. It's more of a Chicago style BBQ...smoked and slathered with sauce which is exactly how I like my BBQ! I had the sliced chicken sandwich with fries. The chicken was moist, the bun was good and the sauce was just the right combination of sweet and smoke. The fries were some of the best I've had anywhere. You could tell they were fresh cut (not frozen) and cooked to a perfect crisp. My guest has a meat combo platter and commented that it was very good. He didn't like the baked beans much though...said they had too much sauce and not enough beans. Other than that, I'd say this restaurant has it right and we will be back for sure!
