  • Had some great Persian food, though it was more of the cheap, filling, and street food kind rather than 100% authentic or fancy - but that's ok. For $23, we got 2 boxes of Jujeh (chicken) kebab and Koresht Bademjan (beef and eggplant stew) both with plenty of rice and veggies, as well as two sharbat drinks (orange and mint - the orange one was better if you like sweet, the mint if you like tangy). Food came out fast - the rice could have been cooked just a bit longer, but other than that, we were very satisfied. The restaurant certainly fills its unique mission as there were flyers available for us the read about Iranian views on various topics - American military intervention, sanctions, the Revolution, the nuclear program, Israel, and women's rights (to name just a few). Come here for good food and to learn a few things you won't pick up on national news.
