  • All around poor customer service! I originally visited this store in early November and bought my dad a Patriots shirt. Buying the shirt was ridiculous as there were like 8 people standing in line and only one person on the register with about 5 other employees standing around. One of the employees even went up to the one working the register and asked if he needed help and the cashier replied with "no." About 20 minutes later I was able to check out. Comes out that the shirt I bought was too large so I went online to the Lids website and ordered my dad a different one and chose to have it shipped to the store to avoid a shipping cost. The website did not tell you what the ETA was on shipping. About 5 days passed and I didn't get any email updates or anything so I decided to call the customer service number, which I hate doing. Anyway, they said they were experiencing long hold times and to either hang on, call back, or to press 1 and have a representative call you back when one is available. Mind you, this message plays over and over as you hold. After about 30 minutes I pressed 1. No one ever called me back. A few days later I called again and the same thing happened. Finally I called the store to see if it was in and the guy just said no without getting any of my info or even looking. Several days later I received a call saying my item was in and to pick it up. This was about 10 business days after I placed to order. Talk about snail mail! Anyway, I went to pick up the item and I guess the manager is the only one authorized to do these types or orders so I had to wait awkwardly as the manager finished ringing up a customer and doing some other side work that was apparently more important than me. I explained that I needed to do a return (the shirt that was too large) and pick up and online order. It took about 20 minutes for all of this to happen but I finally got the shirt and left never to return again.
