After hearing about this place on a podcast, we decided to make the trek from the southeast valley to see what it was all about. It is located in a cluster of stores in the Kierland Commons area, so I figured parking would be a hassle. To my surprise, there are free parking garages at the two ends which makes it conveniently accessible. After a brief walk, we discovered the store and were greeted by Chris. We said that this was our first time and he explained the sections of the small-ish store. He was friendly and not pushy. I was particularly looking for low-bridge options and after doing a once around the store, Chris was able to gather the few options that they have in this style. I began trying them on, narrowing down, narrowing down. After going back and forth with a few pairs, Chris gave some advice which helped narrow down even more. He explained that with a slight prescription, the frames would be $95 (a steal) including the Rx lenses. He also emailed me the two styles that I liked and allowed me to take my own selfies with the two different frames. He said that they could either be purchased online or at the store. If online, I could upload my Rx and then return to the store or any optical store for adjustments. He was very friendly and made me want to return just to give him the sale. I can't wait until they have the sunglasses with the low-bridge option!
