| - I have never had a worse pedicure.
A. The lady made me BLEED. She roughly jabbed the cuticle pusher into each toe nail as I winced, then while trimming (though it was more like plucking) the dead skin around one of my toes, she CUT OFF A PIECE OF MY SKIN and (as any lady who has cut herself while shaving her legs can attest to) it wouldn't stop bleeding. Surprisingly, I didn't realize there was actually an open wound until she took out a bottle of rubbing alcohol and squirted it on--oh! The pain. Then she wanted me to stick my foot back in the water! Are you people crazy?? I saw how they clean the basins after each person, just spray some disinfectant and a quick wipe after they're filling it back up with water. If I get an infection you WILL hear from me!!!
B. The massage chairs are impossible to control and have this weird "butt massager" that literally feels like someone is moving their fist into the middle of your bum. It is super uncomfortable and incredibly awkward to try and deal with while someone is painting your toes. (About halfway in I realized you can turn it off by pressing the seat switch on the bottom left, but then the whole seat is turned off..)
C. These are forgiveable faux pas in my book, but just in case anyone from Anthony Vince is actually reading this: Don't take your clients over to the pedicure seat until it's been cleaned. The dead skin that had been removed from the feet of the client before me was still on the towel when I went to sit down. Gross.
And I certainly won't hold this against you because it was Mother's Day, but if you're all out of hot water, I expect to at least be notified when I walk in or be given a discount on the services I purchased that are now compromised.
Overall, the best part about this place is it's location and ambiance, it is beautiful inside. Their prices aren't too bad either. I just wish they would invest more in the training of their staff, very very poor customer service and salon skills!
