| - We bought season passes this year since we live near by. It was a great investment with the meal plan and has saved us a lot of money. My three year old loves all of the attractions at planet snoopy as well as the dinosaurs exhibit.
My qualms have to do with boomerang bay and the cabanas. We rented a cabana at the water park so we could have a shady area for our baby to nap as well as a check point for everyone to meet at. I knew that there was a limit of 6 people permitted into a cabana. What I didn't realize is they would count our 10 month old as one of those 6. I assumed since he didn't require a ticket to get into the park, he wouldn't count. Since we had 5 adults, one child, and our baby, that meant we were one person over the 6 people limit. I was so disappointed. The cabanas are blocked off and you have to have a wrist band to get in. So one of us had to stay outside of the cabana area the entire trip. Major. Bummer. I do not feel it was fair at all to count the baby as one of the 6. Another major downside to the cabanas- they are at the very farthest end of the park. It was a very long walk from the entrance to the cabanas. We had one handicapped person and an elderly person in our party. It was very difficult for them to walk that far. Plus sides of the cabana- 6 complimentary bottles of water, a ceiling fan that helped cool everyone off, satellite TV to entrain the kids when we needed a break, we could order food and have it delivered to the cabana, refrigerator, and a lock box to store our things. We were also able to pull the curtains enough to have a private place to change clothes and I could nurse our baby. Was it worth the $100? I think so. Had I known they would count the baby towards the people limit, we would have reserved two cabanas. Oh, and bathrooms aren't far from the cabanas which was nice.
