  • Are you ready for this?... A MUST READ FIRST EXPERIENCE - I purchased the Groupon for a MASTER stylist. I called and made my appointment 3 weeks in advance. They called the day of and said that she was not able to cut my hair and asked to reschedule. That's perfectly fine, but I declined and asked if someone else could cut my hair, as I badly needed it cut. I arrived there and had to wait because she needed to eat a bowl of soup! As far as hair goes, it was a decent cut and style. (Stylist seemed a bit pretentious the entire visit though. The employees there have a certain "cool factor" they seem to want to maintain and had several conversations about going out and drinking.) MEANWHILE - I decided to give it a second chance because it was a convenient location and they were nice enough to send a little card (along with several coupons) to my home thanking me for choosing them. I scheduled my appointment ONE MONTH before -- stating that I needed a cut, style, and scalp treatment. Whomever this person was confirmed the correct day, time, and requested services. SECOND EXPERIENCE - Showed up and stylist asked what I was there for (Um, WHAT?!)...I answered her and she responded with a surprised "Oh?! All the appointment said was a scalp treatment. I don't think I have enough time to cut, style AND do the treatment." (Keep in mind I kept my cool during both visits and tried to be understanding. In this instance maybe she wasn't the one that made the appointment). She DID try to offer that I come back either BEFORE they opened the next day or AFTER hours because she was all booked up (which I find hard to believe). It was not convenient to me to get up at the crack of dawn on a Saturday or come in at 7/8pm that evening - when it's again, A SATURDAY. Nice gesture though. I asked if we could do the scalp treatment and cut because the CUT was the whole reason for the visit. She obliged but did the crappiest cut I've ever seen and still charged me the entire $60 even though I did not have my hair styled in the SLIGHTEST. I couldn't believe it. Still did not pitch a fit because I did not feel comfortable discussing her inability to please a client or the price of her services in front of one of her colleagues and the colleague's client. ALL IN ALL - I will NEVER visit again and strongly encourage NO ONE ELSE TO EVER VISIT THIS SALON. EVER. They can't get appointments correct, are too expensive for their quality of service & have no professionalism. Don't waste your time or your money.
