| - I just moved to the area and saw Nailed and Lashed driving on my way home from work. I went online and booked services for the next day. I needed a fill with gel polish and a flower bomb pedi. The pedi and Fill times showed I'd be there for about an hour and a half, I also had to pay 18 dollars in a deposit for booking on line. That's fine, I wasn't going to bail on this much needed fill and pedi!
Walking it, the salon is beautiful! I loved the way that it looked! The woman who completed my services was very polite, but slow. My appointment was at 9am on a Friday. It was dead in there. And it took her three hours for my two services! She didn't use a drill for my acrylic fill and that is what took so long, using a file. Not only that but my acrylic is now all bumpy/wavy.
Now for paying for the services. I paid the 18 dollars the night before, and the email confirming my appointment said that my total due after my services would be 72 dollars. When I went to pay I was told I owe 81 dollars. I showed the nice young woman the email showing what my total due was, she understood, spoke with someone and corrected my total. I paid what I thought was a corrected total and a 20% tip on my card (yes, I tipped even though it was slow. She did a service and I always tip). It wasn't till I got home and looked at my emailed receipt and the total taken off the card on my account statement to see I was not charged the corrected amount. I was charged the 81 dollars, not the 72 dollars.
I was pretty bummed about the whole experience. It's a beautiful salon, and I was looking forward to an awesome experience. Never judge a book by its cover, I guess.
And no, I didn't ask for the 9 dollars back, it might have been an error, who knows! It was just a lackluster experience all together and I'll chalk it up to a loss.
