  • I travel to Cleveland for work often and always rent with Hertz. With Hertz #1 Gold things go well maybe 6 or 7 out of 10 times. Once they gave me a car with no windshield washer fluid in it. Another time the car reeked of weed. Another time the hood of the car was un-latched when I picked it up and it almost flew open on the highway. Another time they screwed up my rental contract which caused delays. It's not perfect but I think all car rental companies are awful to do business with. Hertz may be slightly less awful than the others. Yay!
