| - Just an overall great experience on so many levels.
I love no-gi in that i find it faster, more offensive, and "flowy-er" than traditional gi which involves a lot of stalling tactics and point riding strategies. Most other places in Vegas have no-gi only 1-2 times per week so you have to bend your schedule around their schedule. 10th planet, its always no-gi, show up when you want, boom. Also, nothing is more stylish and aerodynamic than rash-guard leggings with no shorts VS a gi which is not aerodynamic or stylish at all.
Another thing I really like is the culture; very open minded, very nice, very accommodating, the jokes crack me up, yet still rough enough to keep me humble. Nothing keeps me grounded like getting winded to fingertip-numbing-exhaustion, smothered, spladled, folded up, and choked out; I mean this in the best way possible.
Another thing I really like about 10th planet is that very often pro fighters from all over the place just show up and train. Sometimes its just for fun and other times they are training for an upcoming fight. It's a treat to be around these athletes, not just because it sets the bar of what is possible, but also because I think its great to be around that fighter mindset and attitude as much as possible. By comparison, at most other jits/mma places in Vegas the pro fighters are kept separate which massively dilutes the experience.
