Extremely rude staff member proceeded to raise her voice with me today when I came in with a picture of a puppy that was posted on Facebook. Look, I have no control over what rescues or individuals take pictures of dogs in lost and found, all I knew was what I was told about the puppy. Rescue informed me that the pup was waiting to be reclaimed and the owner didn't show up during the time given to them by the shelter, so common sense, I came in to see if the puppy was available for adoption. It could've been a simple yes or no answer, and the rude and hateful woman scolded me In front of potential adopters because 1. I had a picture of a puppy that was in lost and found (I didn't take the picture, it was on Facebook.) 2. "Don't think you can come in here and adopt someone else's dog"(like I said, I was told the owner didn't reclaim so how the heck would I know what's really going on.) 3. "People that take pictures of dogs in lost and found are malicious and only doing it for self gain." (Like I said, I didn't take the picture.) Bottom line, that lady owes me an apology. I'm a potential adopter and was seriously there to find out whether or not this puppy was available, there was no ill intent on my end and I didn't not deserve to be treated that way. She was rude and out of hand.
