The reason most people choose to stay at a Motel 6 is because they want to save money, and staying at a Motel 6 is a good way to do it. Nothing fancy, you just get a bed, a sink, a shower and a toilet. If thats all you're looking for then this is a place worth consideration. When I checked in Kimberly and Lee were very friendly and helpful. My room was clean and comfortable. I stayed four days and didn't see any cockroaches or bed bugs. Nothing of mine was stolen. Yes you'll hear road traffic because Tropicana Avenue is a busy street, and yes you'll hear airplanes since it's located near the airport, however neither were so loud that it effected my sleeping. They have on site a small convenience store called "The Market" and its ok. However for basic tolietries and basic snacks I recommend walking to the Rebel gas station that is kitty-corner to the Motel 6 since their convenience store has most of the same items at lower prices - in one case 25% lower price on the exact same item. Coco's restaurant is next door to the Motel 6 where I found the food affordable and enjoyable. Perhaps the best part of staying at this Motel 6 is you're roughly a 10 minute walk from Las Vegas Blvd where the MGM Grand Hotel, the Tropicana Hotel and other well known resorts are located. There are plenty of fancier places that you can stay while you're in Las Vegas, however if you're looking to save money its hard to beat Motel 6. I am a single man with no children. I would stay here again.
