  • Horrible, horrible experience ! I regret I have not read all negative Yelp reviews before making my reservation here. There isn't a single positive thing that I can list here. For the money you pay for this hotel, you can find a great 5-star hotel on the Strip. DO NOT stay here, let your Las Vegas trip be a positive one and stay somewhere else. When I called to make a reservation at Caeser Palace (2 rooms for 2 couples), the sales person highly recommended the Linq, newly remodeled hotel. Without checking the reviews, I reserved 2 rooms for three nights. Well , where can I start here ?! .... 1. We were able to check in, but three employees at the front desk tried to help our friends finding their reservation ( confirmation email and number was given to them). After one hour, they finally got the room, but not a king non-smoking as reserved. It was a double bed, smoking room even though the reservation listed "sensitivity to cigarets/smoking". At the end, during the check out, they found out that they were charged for two rooms (original and second reservation, who knows what that was!). Again, the staff had no idea what to do, and the manager was not helpful either. To get to the airport on time, we left with the credit card charges unresolved ($900 overcharged !!). Their staff is so rude, unprofessional and inexperienced. 2. This hotel can be compared with Motel 6. Small dark rooms, just a small window in the corner of the room. Toiletries not available, shampoo they provide is like a glue. One small soap is all you get for your entire stay. Pillows were so high, I have a neck problem and couldn't use it. When I called the guest service line, I was told they don't have any other pillows and I should use what is provided in the room (again, very rude). I folded few of my shirts and used instead of pillow. 3. Heater/AC was making so much noise (sounded like a helicopter, video posted), but the staff didn't care about that either . We could not turn the heater on, and it was cold! Requested additional blanket, never got one. 4. Casino floor - terrible as the rest of the hotel. No air filtration , no good smell, hard to breath. Loud hip-hop music playing all day and night, whole place smells like a cheap dirty bar. 5. Not much offered here , but the items that are available incl. bottled water - overpriced ! 6. They don't have enough elevators, so the wait time to get one can be really long. There is more that I can write about our negative experience here , but most useful advise I can give you is: "Don't even pass by this place. Avoid The Linq Hotel and Casino !"
