My mother who is 70 years old with emphysema has been with out a/c since Thursday 6/9/11. She contacted her home waranty company Old Republic Home Warranty and they sent out Blue Ox Hvac Company.They came out on Friday 6/10/11. It was determined her compressor was burned out. My mother talked to Blue Ox and Old Republic Home Warranty twice and told them about her medical condition. They assured her that they would do everything they could. I called Blue Ox Hvac today 6/15/11 and they (Evonne) told me they were waiting on Old Republic to authorize the work order. I then called Old Republic and Latoya told me that the work order was authorized on Monday 6/13/11 and Blue Ox had two choices: pick up the compressor in Glendale ( which is 15 mins away) or have it shipped. They decided they would have it shipped ( which adds 1-2 days of extra lead time) even after my mom had called them twice about her medical condition (she can't go anywhere). Unbelievable. It has been 100-105 degrees everyday since Friday and 109 today. My moms house is 91 degrees inside @11am everyday. Not to mention her pets. This is the classic run around where each company is blaming each other. They wouldn't give me a direct line to there owner Mr. Gorby. I called Blue Ox back again to speak with a supervisor. Evonne told me there is no one there they are all out in the field. No cell phone?? She then told me a supervisor would call me in 30 minutes. That was well over an hour ago. Absolutly heartless. We still don't know where the compressor is or when it will be installed. The worst customer service I have ever seen in my life. DO NOT under any circumstances use this company unless you want to go thru what we are going thru.
