  • My neighborhood Guitar Center, and it feels just like a neighborhood store. The selection is a bit smaller, but with a smaller store comes friendlier, more attentive service. I have also found that the staff here is a bit more seasoned and knowledgeable, and they have less attitude than some other locations. They are definitely not high pressure. Most recently, I stopped in because I was considering purchasing the Traktor Kontrol S2 as an upgrade to the current controller and software I use. I was a little hesitant, and the guy helping me actually said if I was concerned, then maybe I should just stick with the system I was comfortable with. I appreciated the advice and went home to think some more. An hour later I was back in the store and heading home with my new toy. I decided I was up for the challenge! Like all of our (my husband has bought other sound equipment here) purchases, it was easy, and the staff was easygoing and kind, even a tad humorous. As with all locations, they are always happy to price match.
