  • My son celebrated his 8th Birthday here yesterday and it was a wonderful experience. Our host (and founder), Dawn Ballway, was engaging and energetic. She had the rapt attention of eight children ranging in age from 6 to 12 years of age as she led them through age-appropriate "explosive" experiments dealing with the different stages of matter. We chose the "Ooey-Gooey" party which allowed each of the children to participate in creating their own "slime". (This was the highlight of the whole party!) We supplied pizza (easily arranged from Lorenzo's Pizzeria which is in the same complex), cake, drinks and paper products (another easy pick-up from the Harris Teeter at Ardrey Kell). Atomz Lab supplied two Lab Partners (host & helper), experiment planning and supplies, an IMMACULATE bright venue space, safety gear, 90 minutes of worry-free party time and clean up. The price was comparable to other children's party venues we've used in the past without the "nickel and dime" extras that strain the budget. My son and his friends had a blast and were sorry to leave. I will definitely be looking into their after school classes and workshops for my son this year.
