  • Though I've been to sweet republic many times, I had never stopped in asahi. They close early in the afternoon, so often times they are closed when I visit. Anyway, a few friends and I stopped in to give this place a try right before they closed (sorry guys!!!). They let us sample some almond cookies, which were delish! We bought a few pastries from their large selection and enjoyed them as well. Apparently, this place also makes cakes and other pastries to order. I will definitely be back to try more of their tasty desserts.
