Ok folks let me tell you about this place. So it's not fancy or anything. It feels like a family restaurant you would find in Hawaii. Better off coming in shorts, flip flops and a T. It's one of those places where people eat everyday at. After eating there a week they will probably know your name and favorite meal. It's local. You walk in, very relaxed, mosey through the menu and then walk up to the counter. Have a chat place your order and sit and chill. No rush. It's a Fillipino restaurant and the food isn't amazing, but it's REALLY good home cooking. which I think is exactly what they are going for. Make u feel at home.
The staff are really friendly. Treat you like your cousins or something like that. The place is clean. The decor is old school Hawaiian family restaurant. It could literally be in 50 first dates.
I ordered the 2 meat special. I got pork adobo, shoyu chicken, lumpia Shanghai, rice and macaroni salad. The pork was tasty. It was a little fatty but still tasty. The lumpia was also tasty. Not my favorite sauce to dip in but again it was good. Rice was good and so was the macaroni salad. Now the Shoyu Chicken was DA BOMB!!!! Just right amount of sweet with salt and chicken that falls off the bone. I gobbled that right up. It was like being at your families BBQ with really good food. I didn't get up and slap my momma or anything......MOMMA!!!! But I did shake her hand very hard.......VERY HARD!!!!
All in all I will be back to Thelma! Good Job Cousins!!! LOL!!!!
