| - This place is a hungover person's dream come true - Delicious bowls of pho in a room with low lighting and chill music muahahaah.
OXTAIL PHO (5/5) - with a price tag of $15.99, it's definitely the most expensive bowl of pho i've ever had, but am I crazy to say it was WORTH IT? I was a lil reluctant because some reviews here claimed the oxtail meat wasn't tender but mine was FALL OFF THE BONE, easy-peasy-to-eat tender. Abundance of meat! Flavorful broth! No complaints here.
OXTAIL FRIED RICE (5/5) - $15.99 - sampled a bite of my friend's order and it was YUMMMMMY. Very soft chunks of oxtail meat hugged by perfectly fried rice. Hefty portion size! No complaints here either.
THE BIG BONE SOUP - $17.99 - this is THE thing to order if you want something for the 'gram. The bones are RIDICULOUSLY gigantic. Keep in mind it does not include pho noodles, so if you order that on the side, it's an additional $5. Had a taste of my friend's order and it was indeed tasty and would please any bone marrow fan, but it's a dish to avoid if you want something that'd require minimal effort to eat.
VIET-CHELADA (5/5) - $8 - mmmmm tried a sip and it was delicious. Basically it's a Michelada with Vietnamese beer. Whatever they used to rim the glass was nommynommy savory and worth lickin' yo lips for.
VIETNAMESE COFFEE - just as a heads-up, they serve traditional Vietnamese drip coffee. If youza noob, wait for all the water to drip from the filter, then stir the coffee with the condensed milk at the bottom until it's all dissolved, and then pour into your cup of ice.
! BONUS POINTS !
- the music played during my visit was A1 (mura masa and odesza vibes).
- extremely extensive drinks menu, it's crazy. If I was a Vegas local, I'd see myself coming here often to hang out and slurp/munch the night away.
- water refills by our server were oooooooooon point.
- surprised they didn't automatically charge gratuity for our party of 8! 18% was well deserved regardless.
OVERALL
- hungover or not, I'd mosdef come back here the next time I'm in Vegas. Their menu has a wide variety of both traditional and modernized Viet food to tickle anyone's fancy!
