  • Eh...not impressed but the ice cream is as good as it always is so I'll be generous and offer two stars. My husband and I came here tonight for an ice cream date (how wholesome, I know ). Being thrifty and loving ice cream, we were stoked to find a 2 for $6 coupon in a mailer. We went in around 7:30 and there were a few tables that were occupied and only one other person in line. I wanted a shake and the hubby wanted a concrete so we first wanted to ensure that we could use the coupon for 2 different items. One of the women behind the counter approached us and without offering any greeting whatsoever, simply said, "What can I get you?" Strike 1. I asked her if we could use the coupon for a shake and a concrete and she wasn't sure so she had to ask another woman who I assumed was the manager. The only reply we got was, "It will only take around $2 off the total." Huh? It's a 2 for $6 coupon. All I wanted to know was if we could use it for 2 separate things or if we had to get the same type of item (shake, concrete, cone, etc.). I apologized and told her I didn't understand - the coupon says 2 for $6 so are we able to get 2 separate items for $6? She again replied, "It only takes like $2 off." I could see that we just weren't understanding each other and she was becoming annoyed that I didn't understand the ins and out of Coldstone coupons (egads!) so I decided to just stop while I (thought) I was ahead. Strike 2. I went ahead and ordered my shake and my husband ordered his concrete. She asked my husband if he wanted like it, love it or gotta have it. He examined the sizes on the displays (and I'll admit that he was a bit slow to decide) but as he told her that he wanted love it, she replies, "Well I'm already making it in a like it size cause that's what you get with the coupon." Huh? Strike 3. We didn't argue cause at this point it was clear that this Coldstone was a joke. We paid and went to find a table to sit down at. There were 2 or 3 occupied tables but several empty ones. However, not a single empty table was clean. It wasn't busy (like I said, there was one person ahead of us in line and no one after us) so I'm confused as to why there was not a single table clean. Poor customer service is annoying and a turn off. A dirty establishment is a deal breaker. I'll stick to any other Coldstone in town!
