  • This is a fantastic tiki bar. If you're looking for a big, hip version of a tiki experience, you've come to the right place. The menu is pretty expansive, and of course loaded with rum-based beverages. Our server was very attentive, making sure that we had something refreshing the whole night through. If you're into it, you can buy a commemorative ceramic mug to enjoy your drink in. My immediate temptation is to compare this spot to my original favorite: Frank's Tiki Bar. The contrasts are pretty large. First, the sheer size of this place. It has a big, open feel to it and stretches deep into the space. Golden is also much more well-lit, as opposed to the cave-like Frank's. I'd also venture the crowd you get here is a bit more hipster, but hey that's not all bad. Both operations offer something unique. One thing to note: you can have food brought over from the nearby Asian restaurants. I like the Fat Dumpling, personally!
