  • I don't visit Walgreens too often, maybe a handful of times a year to get some beanie boos, candies, snacks or special meds I can't find anywhere else. It's more of an extra splurge place I tend to avoid anyway. Well, today was a necessity because I've had an ear infection for 4 days now so I went to the healthcare clinic. I've been to one before years ago and this time around it was a simple enough process setting up an appointment online, especially when you can't sleep at 2am this is super helpful! They have an easy to use kiosk back by the pharmacy and it was only a few minutes way after my scheduled time and I got to get some much needed care. The doctor there was very friendly and considering my painful issue she made my stay more amusing and enjoyable. To smile and laugh after dealing with an ear infection for many days this is almost as helpful as a prescription for some ear drops. The pharmacy crew were great also, very friendly. I took off a star only because I waited a half hour for my prescription but then found out they had some old insurance so they had to redo the prescription and that took an extra 10 minutes. Not a huge deal for me, I wasn't in a hurry but I wonder if there is a way to double check in the future so there is no confusion or extra waiting time. All in all, better visit than anticipated based on some reviews I saw. I will seek out this Walgreens again when I have some urgent care needs but I will make sure the prescription end is fixed before putting the order in.
