| - If you have been shopping at Chinese grocery stores, you know T&T's price point is higher than most other Chinese grocery stores. This is especially obvious in Markham and Scarborough where there is abundant competition. Of course, there are reasons for it. For one, T&T belongs to Loblaws, so it follows the strict hygiene standards. Secondly, it redeems itself with fresher produce and meat than many of its competition, though not all. Please note for boxed groceries, though, T&T charges a premium; its on sale prices are sometimes the regular prices of other places.
On my book, the higher quality and the higher prices offset each other, so there is no good or bad. Anyhow, I go here for convenience. The parking and line up are freaking frantic, however.
