| - From a clinical perspective, I found out what was ailing me. Albeit, not from the doctor himself; I read my own MRI results. If I would have waited for him, I would have had to wait weeks when I was scheduled for additional diagnostic testing which was no longer necessary. After speaking with the Office Manager, I told him I now longer needed the added tests and canceled those appointments. Therefore, I never received my diagnosis from the doctor. Instead I was told by my PCP that he called her. Why he didn't take to call me himself, I do not know. Then I was over charged for a co-pay from back in February (2018). It is now June and I still have not received reimbursement. I happen to catch the overpayment while validating HSA transactions; CNS did not proactively initiate a refund. When I called the Billing Department, I was told that the matter had been referred to "Management" and that I would receive a call back. I never received that call so I called again a week later. I received the same response. When I asked specifically who "Management" is, I was not given an answer. Instead, I was transferred to the Billing Manager. She was very polite and actually called me back when our call got dropped. She said that "Management" was due to deliver the check to the office today and that someone would call me to let me know when I could pick it up. So far, no calls and the office closes in a couple of hours.
I am very disappointed because I really liked the doctor and his clinical staff. While the doctor's personality type may not be for everyone, he was very thorough and fulfilled his promise to find out what was causing my condition. I just wish that his "Management" staff was as thorough at resolving my refund matter. You can bet that if I owed their office for 3+ months, I would likely be turned over to collections.
