| - I personally have been to a few of the shows put on by the Rainbow Company, and I have always enjoyed them. My uncle (mothers, sisters husband) has been involved with them since their inception and does everything from writing, to acting, audio, set design... The man can do it all! The photos I posted are of him acting...
If you ever have a chance to see one of these shows, I would take the time to do so. If they are coming to your child's school, take the time to see it with them. It's theater at its best, no Broadway actors that have been around for 30 years and try to steal the show, well written music from scratch, local actors... Its a group of people who entertain for the sake of entertainment...

The Rainbow Company is a nationally acclaimed, award-winning youth theatre group which operates under the City of Las Vegas Arts & Community Events Division, Department of Leisure Services. The company provides a professional training program for young people and theatre art classes for all ages.
The core of the Rainbow Company is its ensemble of 40 dedicated students, ages 10 to 18, selected yearly by open auditions. The Rainbow Company Ensemble members work in all aspects of each production. The costumes, make-up, sets, lights, sound and backstage crew responsibilities are all handled by Ensemble members under the tutelage of professional department directors and designers. Serving as an Ensemble member requires participants to make a serious commitment to learning the art of theater.
The mission of the Rainbow Company is the enhance the quality of life of Las Vegas residents through productions of quality family theatre.
