  • We purchased new bath room faucets (3) from Home Depot and signed up for their contractor service company for the install which we paid for up front. Chris- the plumber showed up very nice guy - very inexperience came on time- wanted us to pay an added $175+for each faucet to put in all new shut values as he did not feel the current hook ups were correct for the faucet water lines. We told him no -as we did not want our shut offs sawed off so close to the wall and this just did not make sense. Plus $$$ all this extra money just to replace sink faucets- so we asked our local handiman - he said nope all you need are adapters so we went back to home Depot - they sold use the $8.00 adapters for each water line- we complained about Max Plumbing- they made comment he was just trying to make extra money- AT OUR EXPENSE- Handiman installed the faucets -they look and work great with the adapters No Fuss no Mess- I trusted Home Depot to screen their contractors BUYERS BEWARE- IF IT SOUND OFF DO YOUR HOME WORK AND GET A 2ND OPINION.
