I believe it was Joe who helped fit my husband into a pair of shoes. He's been curious about running but has very little to no experience since he had back surgery years ago. We tried one other local running store prior to this one and while they had a great selection they failed to answer many of his questions regarding shoes so we decided to check out Try Sports after hearing rave reviews about customer service.
This place is pretty huge! They also have a nice system set up for gait analysis and an indoor track available for trying out a pair of running shoes. I personally don't run on a treadmill at all so if I were looking to buy shoes i'd want to try them out on a track instead. What a great idea!
Their selection of shoes seemed to include most of the popular models i've seen. I don't need shoes yet, but as soon as I do i'll be back to this place! Joe is really helpful and knows his stuff.
If you ask nicely he may even let you play around on the elliptigo thing!
Also, the shoes he recommended for my husband worked out well. He's been on a run wearing them and didn't feel too much discomfort and not nearly as much as he thought he would. Thanks!
