  • Food was pretty good. Service needs improvement. We had a 6:30pm reservation, and still waited for 35 minutes before someone offered us drinks or to take our order or even say hello to us. This was our first time dining here and were looking forward to it. Manager was right by our table and didn't even acknowledge us the whole time. We were celebrating 2 birthdays so this was not a good impression. We ordered the Goong Special Platter. It was very good. Some of the waitresses were great cooking for us and most seemed in a hurry to do it. My elderly mother wanted to sit at the end (birthday celebrant) and didn't know how to cook the meat properly. She also asked for warm water and waited a long while for it; 30-40 minutes. So we asked for it again. A kind waitress brought one over. All I suggest is that the staff be more friendly. Most people didn't smile at all and were not friendly. Food was good, service needs lots of improvement. Might come back, might not. It is a nice restaurant. We usually go to Soyo down the street, which is more casual, and the food & service there are pretty good.
