  • Hello and welcome to Avalon Meat Candy. I work in private EMS here in Vegas and frequent many small shopping areas in the course of my job. We had stopped by Starbucks in the morning around 7 am at Silverado/Maryland area. The fact that a Jerky store was open at that hour next to a Starbucks was incredible and very smart. The owner Christian is this very enthusiastic very friendly dude. I say dude because you get this old California laid back vibe, yet he is a very proud and hard worker. The variety of Jerky here is amazing, however he does sell out early in the day. He was tearing some jerky up when we got there and allowed us to sample many varieties. I liked the Fireball Jerky. Made with Fireball Whiskey/Whisky. So spicy hint of cinnamon and not leathery like some Jerky can be. Thanks for visiting Avalon Meat Candy. I am a big fan and will be back again. The owner alone would be reason enough.
