  • Looking for washer dryer and fridge. Talked with appliance department and selected all three. I price checked and thought I found washer and dryer at a lower price, well I did but it wasn't an apples to apples comparison. I get that but I told salesperson that I would buy all three cash but I wouldn't pay that price. He called Regina the manager on duty and she said she couldn't do anything for me to the salesman to relay to me. I asked if she was was too busy to talk to me? He called her back up and asked her to come to the appliance department. When Regina arrived I told her my story....Wife and I just bought a house and we are excited about filling it. I told her I knew it wasn't a whole home purchase but I wouldn't pay that price. She asked me to go get prices and she would price match them. ( I think that's a nice way of saying "NO" to a customer ). I told her I haven't even thought about going anywhere else but I had Cash money in my pocket and I was standing in her store. I could not get through to her. Maria a second salesperson came over to me and had me sold right up until the point Regina was introduced. Maria and I we're making a deal and she was adding value by showing me the benefits of having their warranty. Regina's lack of interest rubbed me the wrong way even though she never said anything that was against policy but she didn't say anything to keep me there either. I bought a washer, dryer and two refrigerators. One fridge for the garage and one for the kitchen. All appliances except for the garage fridge have extended warranty but I bought them from Michael at Lowe's on Watson Rd. He showed me stuff that had value because they were on sale and I spent $3,800.0+ I will post receipt if this allows me to. Notice all this happened same day. It's not that anything wrong was said, I get policies and procedures but if you wanna buy from home Depot see Maria and don't call for MOD. Maria can make you feel good about spending almost 4k.
