  • Can I say how pleased I was with this place? The plain fact that I wasn't dripping with sweat at the end was amazing. A venue with proper air circulation? The ticketing was amazingly quick. I had my ticket on my phone with the AXS app, which really did make entering and leaving the venue a breeze. And you'll need it, bathrooms as far as I could figure are only outside the venue. Easy exits also lead to easy, greasy pizza (insert shameless plug for Pizza Forte, located conveniently near the Vinyl) Vinyl did end up being smaller than I had imagined. It's built longways which causes a problem with the flow of people. If you are trying to get a beer while a band is performing, expect throngs of people trying to slide past you all the while having their asses and elbows just knocking into you relentlessly. You can also expect to have money slide out yo wallet. $10 a beer, my good man. The positive is that you are pretty damn close to the stage, regardless of where you stand. Sound quality was phenomenal really. I was not expecting it to sound that clear. Security had things under control, kids that did crowd surf were taken care of. Very enjoyable experience.
