  • So far not terribly impressed. Got to the Venetian at 1 am my time exhausted. Had a reservation for a king bed in a suite. Was asked if I wanted to UPGRADE to a nicer, larger suite with two queen beds (extra large queens) with a view of the strip. Said sure. Got to the room, had a view of the other building, and two beds that looked like large double beds. Went back downstairs and was told they had sold out of the King beds despite the fact that I made my reservation months ago. I would have much preferred that the hotel say, hey, we messed up and overbooked king beds, let us compensate you for our error instead of B.S. on the suite "upgrade". What a bunch of nonsense. They told me they will move me into a king today.
