  • Ask for Jurgen (like the Jergen lotion) Reservations were easy, got the time we wanted. My husband and I went for my birthday, we were greeted and seated with a signed birthday card, nice touch. We had a few minutes to look at the menu then we were greeted by our server Jurgen. Asked us what to drink, we wanted a bottle of red wine and made a wonderful recommendation. Brought water and delicious sourdough bread and a couple of different butters (very tasty and rich!) My husband loves salads but Jurgen recommended the clam chowder. We got both and split them! The salad was pretty good but the clam chowder was to DIE FOR!!! Perfectly seasoned. We both ordered steaks, with rubs, their potatoes and the Brussel sprouts. All fabulous! My husband didn't realize that a sauce came ON his steak. He's not a sauce guy so we mentioned it to Jurgen so the manager came over. We weren't complaining but the manager asked if my husband wanted another steak, no questions, over sauce! Amazing. He said no, but we got dessert for free instead. Really? Yes! What a way to stand behind your product. The other manager stopped by as well, just to check on us and chat for a minute and to wish me a happy birthday. The gal that was taking care of us as well was very attentive but not overbearing. She impressed us also. Though it was expensive it was so worth it. Oh, did I mention Jurgen gave us truffles as well? What a fabulous meal. We will definitely go back for the next special occasion.
