My complaint is strictly for the 3rd party call center being used in place of all of student services. I used to work for Rio Salado (and only left 6 weeks ago), and thought I would have no problem getting my husband admitted to the next semester (fall) especially since he is already admitted to the summer term. I could not figure out the new SIS adjustments made to the system, so I called the advisement line at Rio. I was directed to the third party. The first two times I called, the call was immediately put on hold without anyone greeting the call first. Both times, I was hung up on while on hold, I never even had an opportunity to speak with someone. The third time I called, I believe I had someone named Trish, and while I was in the middle of speaking, she placed me on hold and hold music started playing while I was talking. She came back on the call, and told me she didn't have any knowledge of how to walk to get me admitted and said she could transfer me to admissions (which is also now a call center). I told her I was happy to do it myself if I could just get instruction on where to go on the student center. She said she didn't have that information. It wasn't a good experience. What confidence would I have in a different 3rd party rep helping me? It doesn't appear they have the customer service, passion or knowledge to be taking calls for Rio Salado.
