I feel like the service at Wicked Spoon has continued to go down each time I visit. I arrived at Wicked Spoon for dinner at 730 this evening. Granted, I know that they close at 9, but no one warned us that we would be waiting for a table for an hour. By the time we were seated, the buffet was only open for another 30 minutes and it was slim pickings.
The service was no bueno. There were two cashiers servicing the line and they were really slow. There were open tables, but they didn't have enough servers to seat people in the restaurant. When we were seated, our server was inattentive. We had piles of plates at our table and he didn't come by and clear them.
The food is good, but it's not worth dealing with the lack of service. I would recommend going to the Bachannel at Caesars instead. Our server there were stop by every few minutes to make sure we were OK. This is the reason she got an additional tip on top of the 20% tip we left when we paid at the cashier.
