We used this company about a year ago. A few months after the move (from Las Vegas to Dallas Tx) we received an email from Champion asking if a couple of boxes, which they took pictures of the contents and sent to us asking if it was our property. It included some home photo (priceless) CD, Nintendo, and some nic-naks. I called the company let them know the items were indeed ours and asked if I could pick them up or have them sent to us. I never got a response back. I then call, they said in order to get the items I had to fill out a form from a 3rd party called CSI (Claims Service International). The majority of items we packed and so when the movers came, everything was numbered. Little did I know I was suppose to keep track of every box number and what it contained!
A YEAR LATER, and after I have tried to find out status of our property (knowing full well that if it takes this long to resolve a claim, chances are, someone in the warehouse has helped themselves to the items) I receive a letter indicating my claim was denied because I never listed the items lost when we moved. YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING. Not sure if these people working for CSI are from another country or what.
Good luck to those of you using Champion Movers and God be with you if you have to submit a claim!
