rev:text	STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. I wouldn't recommend John at all. Our AC unit upstairs wasn't blowing cold air so I decide to call John to come. He came and found a leak outside and that freon was low. Asked him to replace the leaking part and to add freon on. John couldn't replace the leaking part and said it isn't leaking anymore somehow so it doesn't require replacing. The initial invoice was around $900+ but he lowered it down to $700 after we agreed to pay him in cash. He tried getting me to sign a contract with him for maintenance, luckily I declined. When he left the unit wasn't blowing cold air, only cool. 2 weeks later the upstairs stop blowing cool air totally. Called John up asking why it was like this and his reply was "Hello. Possibly low on refrigerant again." Talk to him some more and question him if he found a leak in one spot being that it's his profession why didn't he check to see if there are leaks in other area. His reply was that we didn't ask him to and that it would have been an extra $95 for him to come plus whatever he will find. So he totally put the blame on us. I rather paid an additional $95 and get the problem fixed than paying $700 cash to have cool NOT COLD air for barely 2 weeks. After 30 minutes arguing with him with no result was given. John finally say if we paid him the $900+ to begin with everything would have been fixed. How does this make sense? I paid him $700 in cash like he wanted and now he say it wasn't enough. So apparently he knew there were other leaks but he just wanted to screw us over. I gave up and have to look for someone else come to fix our AC . Save yourself the hassle and financial problems and go with someone else when you need HVAC. So unprofessional.
