| - I stayed at the MGM Grand for the 2015 Splunk conference. I came here twice. The first time, I just came for a couple of margaritas. The second time, I had some Old Fashioneds and a pasta dish.
The service was good both times. I was provided with plenty of water, and my drink level was maintained.
I appreciated the good selection of food on the menu. I heard a message on the resort sound system that said the restaurant had a special late night menu, but the one I got seemed pretty complete to me.
The pasta dish (the tortillini) was tasty. I think it was the most standout food I've had in Vegas, and I've tried several places. I ordered the dish late at night, about 1 AM. It came within 15 minutes. The margaritas and the Old Fashioneds were consistent, poured "heavy handed", and did the job. I got the Old Fashioneds made with their house blend of bourbon, and it was good.
Overall, I feel that Wolfgang Puck really delivered. I didn't walk in here expecting food or drinks that exceeded that which I am used to in my hometown, consistent with what I have had in Vegas. But they offered consistent service levels, and I really enjoyed my food. I would recommend this place, especially for people looking for a late night munch while gambling or otherwise enjoying the MGM resort. Responsive, friendly service, and a good bite to eat. Drink prices are spendy, but consistent with other offerings in the resort. I spent about 90 dollars on the meal and four drinks, before tip.
