I've eaten at Cafe Bink several times now, and I'm sorry to say my one good experience seems to have been a fluke. Service is usually not great, and there always seems to be something wrong with the food--beards left on the mussels, filet mignon served raw when I asked for medium (even after sending it back), bread dry on a sandwich, fries overdone, bland aioli (where's the garlic??). It's also overpriced at dinnertime. My husband ordered the trout and it came with 5 green beans and no starch. He was starving after our $100 dinner--we ordered two entrees and one glass of wine.
I really agonized over updating my review because I don't want to hurt their business in any way. I decided I'd really love Cafe Bink to get its act together because it could be great. I also don't want to mislead people, as there is no way this is a 5-star restaurant.
