  • I really, really wanted to love Forage. I am a huge supporter of local, sustainable 'farm to fork' food. Which is why I was so excited to try Forage for a homemade, take out meal this week. There is certainly a lot to be impressed about. For one, the serving size is pretty large. A 'single' order fed me for 3 meals! They also had great customer service, I noticed several customers being called by name. I certainly see the appeal of stopping by Forage on your way home from work when you just aren't in the mood to cook. On the flip side, I wasn't blown away by the food, and it isn't cheap. I suffered extreme heartburn every time I ate my chicken cacciatore. The chicken was dry, and I wasn't overwhelmed with flavour. BUT - I'm always game for a second chances. I'll be back, and hope that I fall in love with Forage next time!
