  • This wildlife habitat was conveniently located right outside the hotel where I was staying; The Flamingo Hotel. Where there flamingo's? Well of course there were. If there weren't any flamingos I would call that false advertising. Not only were there flamingos but there were other pretty birds as well and lots of fish such as koi. There was also a nice fountain and limited seating. In the afternoons it's usually fairly crowded with the touristy types; myself included with their camera's out snapping photos of these lovely pink birds. In the hallways leading up to the habitat you will also see some caged parakeets, parrots, and other exotic birds. I stayed on the Habitat side of the hotel so I encountered them frequently. It's a nice area to visit but not the most comfortable or serene spot to hang out for long periods of time mostly because the crowd is pretty disruptive. If you are looking for peaceful tranquility you will have to find it elsewhere.
