Bakery from Montreal opened at Atrium on the Bay. The store started by offering complimentary tea or coffee with any purchased of baked goods, is now filled with waves and waves of downtown professionals purchasing fresh out of the oven baked goods. The owner is ironically a hardworking Korean and not a Parisian. I am sure those who have been purchasing croissants, cookies and scones can care less!
Perfectly sweetened Honey oats cookies with a crispy exterior and chewy center are available for $0.70. The plain croissant ($2.10) is buttery and flaky. Although not croissant of the year, it is great as an indulgent breakfast or snack. The scones ($1.80) are a hit or miss. They are first baked with a cover to retain the moisture, then the cover is removed to create a crispy exterior. Typically there are two flavours available - raspberry, blueberry or blueberry coconut. All delicious on a good day, when the scones had enough time to rise.
Keep up the delicious work!
