| - Went to this place on Saturday night. First off, the location is very strange. It is located on a main street, however when we were walking on Adelaide, we seen an entrance with the sign "UNION" on it and it was locked.
The actual entrance is in an alley, which is located past the parking lot.
Very strange location if you ask me.
We were on the guestlist so we got in without cover.
The bouncers seemed nice enough.
At 11:30, the place was dead. It only started to fill up around 1.
The décor upstairs is really nice with the lights and the big screens. Downstairs, it looks more like someone's basement rather than a club. They did have a pool table though which was pretty cool.
The washrooms were nice and clean (well at least until 2:00 a.m.)
The drinks are not cheap, $7 for a corona, 8$ for mixed drinks I think.
As someone had mentioned before, the bartenders do OVERCHARGE people for their drinks.
The corona which I paid $7 for at the beginning of the night, suddenly went up to $8 at 1:00 a.m.
So be careful with that.'
The service was also very slow. The bartender would serve guys who would order 6-7 shots over anyone else who was waiting in line way before that. So if you are a girl who is just buying one drink, you will have to wait for a loooong time before you get any service.
There is no patio, just a boarded off area outside near the parking lot for smokers. You cannot bring your drink with you.
The music was nice, mostly played EDM, Techno, some top 40 and some rap.
Also beware a lot of old creepy men..
Overall, this club is not too bad but at the same time I do not see what are all the amazing reviews about, it is nothing special, especially when you are overcharged for drinks.
