This isn't the nicest hotel but it's inexpensive and that's why we stayed here. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and accommodating. The first night when we checked in my friend and I were accidentally given a king bed instead of two doubles. They were out of the two doubles rooms so they gave us a roll-away and let us switch the next day. Our other friends who came with us had an air conditioning issue and were promptly switched as well.
The decor of the rooms is ugly. It's sad but true. It seemed fairly clean and everything worked well. It's well worth the price however. There is no pool, but you can use the one at Binion's if you want.
The casino is one of the smallest downtown. If you play the slots, you can get pretty tired of the options available here. Luckily other casinos are just across the street so you're able to try a lot of different places. It's also about the same distance from Main Street and Las Vegas Blvd/Fremont East. There are three different restaurants plus a Subway and a Noble Romans. There is also a bar in the front.
Overall this was a decent experience.
